Evan Wells will receive a Hall of Fame award during the 29th annual DICE Awards.

Evan Wells, former co-president of Naughty Dog, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS).

The AIAS explained Wells' induction will take place at the 29th annual DICE Awards on February 12, 2026. Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann will oversee the induction.

"Naughty Dog was able to create some truly incredible games and leave a lasting mark on the industry because of Evan’s unwavering leadership and the trust he placed in all of us," said Druckmann in the announcement.

Wells joined Naughty Dog back in 1998, working on games like Crash Bandicoot: Warped and Jak and Daxter, before becoming co-president in 2004. He eventually retired in July 2023.

In a statement shared with the staff at the time of his exit, Wells said he was content with his time at the studio and everything they had accomplished together over the last 25 years.

"Working here has been awe inspiring and I have nothing but gratitude for everything that I’ve been able to learn and be a part of," he wrote.
