AI-enabled game-tech dev Felicity Games to open Singapore office
The company plans to invest $1 million over the next 12-18 months to deepen ‘market penetration across APAC.’
India-based company Felicity Games, an AI-enabled game-tech developer and publisher, has announced a new office in Singapore.
Via GamesIndustry.Biz, the expansion will mark Felicity's third office opening alongside India and Türkiye. The company hopes to double in size by March 2026, with a focus on "upcoming acquisitions and operations in the region" via its new Southeast Asia headquarters.
This hope comes alongside plans to invest $1 million over the next 12 to 18 months, meant to build a "robust leadership team," expand its talent tool, and deepen "market penetration across APAC."

As per the Singapore office, Felicity believes it will play a "pivotal role in increasing the regional user base to over two million," with a strategic focus on "high-growth" markets such as Vietnam and Thailand.
Felicity sees 'immense potential' across APAC
"APAC is home to 1.5 billion gamers and a $70 billion market becoming one of the fastest growing regions globally, and we see this as a pivotal opportunity to build the future of gaming in the region," Felicity founder and CEO Anurag Choudhary said. "This expansion with Singapore will strengthen our ability to engage with local talent, partners, and communities in a region that has immense potential and is at the forefront of gaming innovation."
As GameIndustry.Biz previously reported, Felicity has raised a total of $3.7 million across two funding rounds in recent times, including a $700,000 pre-seed funding round back in July 2024.
During the past couple of years, multiple studios have been expanding into Singapore. In 2022, Sega opened a marketing subsidiary to drive global expansion and strengthen the company's initiatives within the Southeast Asian market. In June of last year, Fatal Fury and Metal Slug developer SNK opened a development studio in Singapore, reaffirming its commitment to "developing high-quality games through enhanced cooperation" between Japan and Singapore.
At the time, the CEO of Japan game industry consultancy Kantan Games, Dr. Serkan Toto, noted that SNK's expansion doesn't happen often.
"This is interesting because even though a slew of game companies have a presence in Singapore, actual game development is not very common," Toto wrote via X (formerly Twitter).
